A few weeks ago I worked on a new style of painting. I decided to paint one of my manga style sketches in acrylic.  My reference was a photograph I took of my daughter when she was a young teenager.  I have been wanting to paint one of these as I usually just draw them in pencil and ink or I create them with digital media.  I had an 8″ x 10″ canvas on hand … so, here is the painting.
