In between painting and sketching, I have created quite a few pieces of jewelry this summer. I have been inspired by my garden and warm and cozy colors. (I think I am ready for Fall!) I love the intricate, detailed process of creating wearable pieces. So this week, I finally got started photographing and posting them to my online store.
I have been finding inspiration in my garden. I was visiting my mom a few months ago and was peeking through her stash of beads and found a gold metal bead that happened to have slots in it. I picked up my pliers and peeled back the ends and thought of a rose bud and loved it. I brought a few beads home with me to create into rosebuds to add to my designs. I used one of them as a finishing touch on this three strand bracelet, too.
I have really been enjoying working with antique copper wire.
I love the warmth it brings to my pieces. And I am loving agate and turquoise lately, too.
I have been thinking of also opening a store on Etsy. I opened my site on Storenvy as I had a few friends that had their stores there. When I tell people where my store is online, most of them have never heard of StorEnvy.com and I find myself explaining it is kind of like Etsy and then they say, “oh, yeah.”
I’d love to hear your opinion about Etsy vs. Storenvy! Thanks so much. 🙂
Have a wonderful, creative day, Janell

Thanks, and I appreciate your feedback about storenvy. Wondering if etsy has an app or something that can just move my entire store. Wouldn’t that be great. 🙂
