I finished the painting that I shared “in-process”on my blog post last week. I named her “ICE.” She must have waved her magic fairy wand, because we are finally having some cooler weather. Yippee!
I finished this painting just in time! I have an exhibit at the Alhambra City Hall Gallery that goes up on Monday, November 3rd. I am exhibiting 12 paintings and 6 pieces of my jewelry along with aerial art photographer, Renee Rusak Strouse, who will be exhibiting 12 of her photographs from her “Chroma” series. We will be having a reception at the gallery on Monday evening, November 10th from 6:00-8:00 PM. If you live in the Los Angeles area, feel free to stop by. I’d love to meet some of my blogger friends in person. 🙂
Have a wonderful, creative, day, Janell

I’m glad Ice brought you some cooler weather, and I hope she brings you a really COOL exhibit? (Or should it be hot? What’s the artistic equivalent of “break a leg?”) 😉

Yeah Janell, what a wonderful piece of art to exhibit! Love the finish painting – the textures are incredible, giving a signature 3-D look of light streaming through. The is going to be so well received!
