10 Fairy Sketches Art Challenge |

Jonathon over at By The Mighty Mumford nominated me for a TEN SENTENCE LOVE POEM CHALLENGE – but with an art twist. So, since I LOVE fairies, I am doing 10 fairy sketches. Hop over to his blog and check out his poetry. I am always amazed at people who have the gift of writing poetry. I love reading all the poetry here on WP!

I have been away for a couple of weeks with family visiting and the flu. 😦 But I didn’t forget, Jonathan! Thanks for the motivation to get out my sketchbook. I also decided to add some figures in the mix so I could play with drawing wings. (Ha! Now I’m regretting all the life drawing classes I skipped in college! 🙂 )

A rather firey “FLIRTY” there….looks willing AND able to tie any number of men into tight knots! 😀 Wow…I gotta watch it when girls start taking me seriously. That last time it happened I ended up marrying the girl. BUT–that is some fine drawing. I forget…are these qualities YOU HAVE…??? 🙂

Thanks, Sheila. I am in the middle of a painting with birds and a fairy and then she is next. Her sketch is laying on the floor in my studio next to my easel, saying please paint me! 🙂 I will definitely share her when I get the painting done. I had a couple of jewelry commissions I had to get done last week, but I am painting all day tomorrow! Yippee!
